The actress can be seen in Tyler Perry's smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Together with Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as indie films Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. She has also appeared in Shattered! Never Die Alone and American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha started her professional career performing on stage following her graduation from the Cum Laude Conservatory with an B.F.A. She was in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Keesha was also in Abyssinia and Aida. She's read August Wilson's Come and Gone alongside him.
