Dennings was involved in a romantic romance to Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") between 2011 and 2014. Following their breakup, she began dating Josh Groban. They stayed together until the year 2016. Dennings began dating musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. The pair soon began to date and declared their engagement in the month of May in 2021. Dennings had been a big admirer of the artist since 2014. Though Dennings was Jewish, she has stated that she is more a part of the Jewish faith on a personal as well as a cultural basis and does not make religion an integral part of her daily life.
