Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to win three bouts within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first minute. After that she fought at WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat Cynthia by a majority vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd returned from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to make her record 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round with a TKO. The next time she fought, she won at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18. She weighed catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her after the second round with a TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. In Aspen's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 where she faced Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through a pound and pound victory during 2nd round. Her dominance grew and she scored an impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to beat Evinger with a punch during the first round. She also was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for another rematch in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first fight in a major tournament. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision with both fighters claiming their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her streak of winning. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round in the UFC on ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
